Description

  • Source and close new business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
  • Build a deep understanding of Verkada products and their role in the market.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, online demos, proposal creation, and deal closing.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and deliver expert-level forecasting.
  • Exceed quarterly activity goals for outbound calls, emails, online demos, and trials.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to customers and channel partners.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to support smooth launches and future product growth.
  • Provide market and client feedback to Verkada’s product and engineering teams.
  • Travel regularly, including domestic and international travel, to support customers, partners, and internal collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of quota-exceeding sales experience with a technology vendor selling enterprise solutions into state agencies.
  • Prior experience with government procurement processes, regulations, security standards, and policies.
  • Experience responding to government RFIs and RFPs.
  • Track record of developing a greenfield territory and adding net-new logos in an enterprise software role.
  • Hunter mentality with strong sales drive and business development focus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • BS/BA degree strongly preferred.
  • Must be independently authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Comfort with frequent travel, estimated at more than 50% of the time, including domestic and international destinations.

  • Estimated annual on-target earnings of $280,000-$320,000 USD.
