Description

  • Lead, grow, and develop a Fraud Countermeasures team that delivers high-impact fraud rules quickly.
  • Translate threat intelligence into a focused detection strategy aligned with Fraud Platform goals and metrics.
  • Own end-to-end delivery by planning sprints, removing blockers, and driving countermeasure deployment in hours, not weeks.
  • Communicate clear progress updates to executives and company stakeholders.
  • Champion tooling and process improvements to automate intel ingestion, detection testing, and rule deployment.
  • Partner with product, data science, and engineering teams to shape a long-term proactive detection vision.
  • Strengthen the company’s global fraud risk posture through tactical defense work.
  • Foster a red-team mindset to identify, reproduce, and shut down attack patterns quickly.
  • Support career growth, feedback culture, and skill development within the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years leading an operations team fighting online fraud at scale in fintech, identity verification, or a similar domain.
  • SQL fluency with the ability to turn raw data into attack stories and metrics.
  • Proven ability to build, scale, retain, and motivate strong operations teams.
  • Strategic mindset with experience aligning team efforts to measurable business impact.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for mentoring and building inclusive, high-performing team cultures.
  • Curiosity and tenacity in solving complex, high-impact problems with practical, sustainable solutions.
  • Innovation- and product-discovery-oriented mindset.
  • Red-team or threat-intelligence background is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ML-driven systems and the ability to work effectively with data scientists and ML engineers is preferred.
  • Experience implementing new tools or technologies to improve fraud detection is preferred.
