Description

  • Provide clinical product education to customers and field teams to support understanding and adoption of Veracyte diagnostics.
  • Serve as a scientific and clinical resource for company products and related disease states.
  • Partner across the organization to deliver internal and external educational support.
  • Develop multi-channel medical education activities and tools, including speaker programs, educational materials, slide decks, and online educational events.
  • Act as a field-based member of the marketing department within the commercial team.
  • Spend approximately 70% of time in client-facing activities with sales-requested interactions, both in person and remotely.
  • Spend approximately 30% of time on internal collaborations and special projects.
  • Cover key customers and support field teams across multiple U.S. states, primarily in the Northeast and Midwest.
  • Travel extensively within the defined region and to other parts of the country as needed.

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree required, such as PhD, MD, NP, PA, or CGC.
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in urology or radiation oncology.
  • Prior MSL experience supporting the introduction of a novel clinical assay is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of tumor biology and molecular testing, or related working experience.
  • Outstanding oral and written presentation skills for communicating complex study findings to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, probe effectively, and adapt communication to audience needs.
  • Customer-centric, team-oriented mindset with passion for patients and cross-functional success.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 60% within the assigned region and proximity to a major airport.
  • Preferred candidate location in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Nashville, or Denver.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $151,000 to $196,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for additional discretionary bonuses and incentives.
