Description

  • Understand the technologies, constraints, and implementation issues related to application security and cloud security programs.
  • Assess customer business, security, and compliance challenges.
  • Match Veracode solutions to customer business and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrate the Veracode platform, value proposition, and technology to prospects, customers, and partners.
  • Complete RFPs, security questionnaires, and third-party security attestations.
  • Present Veracode’s vision, strategy, and product roadmaps to executives and technical leaders.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal product development teams to inform future solution direction.
  • Participate in industry and channel conferences and events.
  • Work closely with the sales organization to build long-term business relationships and support new business acquisition.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in the information security or DevOps industry.
  • Experience positioning and selling enterprise applications, systems management, or business continuity solutions.
  • Application penetration assessment experience is desired, including areas such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting, session hijacking, and credential management.
  • Hands-on experience with Snyk, Checkmarx, GitHub Advanced Security, or open-source security tools.
  • Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, and with CNAPP solutions.
  • Knowledge of penetration testing, vulnerability scanning and assessments, security architecture, application development, and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI, ISO/COBIT, and FISMA is desired.
  • Experience with SDLC integration, application servers, database architecture, and network architecture is desired.
  • Knowledge of shell scripting, Perl, Java, or .NET languages such as C#, ASP, and .NET is desired.
  • Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to uncover business challenges and develop custom solutions to address them.
  • Pre-sales experience with large enterprises and ISVs is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed.
