Description

  • Develop efficient, secure backend applications and integrate AI solutions into existing products and support systems.
  • Research, evaluate, and apply new AI-based technologies to drive optimization and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product, and support teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to backend systems that support multiple products rather than a single application.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial product development experience with Python, including scalable backend services and data manipulation.
  • Strong proficiency in Docker for containerization and deployment.
  • Demonstrated experience building autonomous or semi-autonomous agents such as LangGraph or Pydantic AI Agents.
  • Sound architectural judgment on when to apply LLMs versus traditional code or simpler ML models.
  • Experience designing automated evaluation pipelines such as Ragas or DeepEval.
  • Experience implementing production monitoring tools such as Langfuse or Pydantic Logfire.
  • Solid understanding of AI security, including response control, prompt injection prevention, and safety guardrails.
  • Ability to optimize throughput, token cost, and latency at scale.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and experimenting with new technologies, especially in the rapidly evolving AI field.
  • Ability to proactively research and adopt state-of-the-art and emerging workflows.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript is an advantage.
  • Experience with transformer architectures, fine-tuning approaches such as PEFT/LoRA, and self-hosting models is an advantage.
  • Previous experience with Veeam products is an advantage.
