Description

  • Configure customer accounts, customize backup policies and storage, and support onboarding and stakeholder orientation.
  • Identify migration opportunities and run success planning sessions to align product adoption with customer business outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments, build protection plans, and recommend software products and architectures across the Veeam Data Platform.
  • Run recovery simulations, apply the Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM), and deliver quarterly resilience reporting.
  • Monitor customer signals to identify churn risk early and develop mitigation plans and renewal support strategies.
  • Build business cases, define total cost of ownership, and articulate value propositions for expansion opportunities.
  • Engage CISO and CIO stakeholders with clear updates on risk, status, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate on marketing-informed campaigns and plays to drive adoption and expansion.
  • Own the technical success plan and adoption roadmap for assigned accounts.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success leadership on pricing, commercial terms, and renewal terms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery.
  • Experience in Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or similar roles.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Hands-on expertise with operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting or automation, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery and resilience best practices.
  • Experience designing and executing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations.
  • VMCE certification required, with completion allowed post-hire within an agreed timeframe.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional and Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps and measurable value.
  • Experience engaging executive stakeholders such as CISOs and CIOs.
  • Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Veeam platform capabilities is a plus.
