Description

  • Design, build, and deploy custom AI agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio and Agent 365 from discovery through production.
  • Develop Power Automate flows and Power Apps experiences that extend agent capabilities into operational workflows.
  • Create custom connectors and API integrations between agents and internal systems such as portfolio management, CRM, and document repositories.
  • Choose appropriate orchestration patterns, including deterministic flows, generative orchestration, multistage approvals, and external workflow engines.
  • Build durable cross-day processes that handle retries, restarts, approval delays, re-entrance, and idempotency.
  • Design testing, logging, monitoring, and quality control frameworks to validate agent behavior and satisfy compliance requirements.
  • Define governance and access control architecture so agents operate within identity, permissions, and data classification boundaries.
  • Work across low-code and pro-code approaches depending on the problem and implementation needs.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and the broader M365 Copilot ecosystem, including production deployments.
  • Strong understanding of agent architecture fundamentals, including tool calling, orchestration, and state management across turns and sessions.
  • Experience integrating AI agents with enterprise systems via REST APIs, custom connectors, or service endpoints.
  • Proficiency in Copilot Studio for rapid prototyping, with C# as the primary baseline for custom extensibility.
  • Python or other scripting experience is a strong plus for specialized integrations.
  • Working knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Automate cloud flows and desktop flows, Power Apps, and custom connector development.
  • Understanding of enterprise identity and access management, including Entra ID, RBAC, conditional access policies, and service principal management.
  • Familiarity with data access controls and DLP policies relevant to AI agent deployments.
  • Experience implementing or working within approval and escalation flows, including when agents should act autonomously versus involve a human.
  • Awareness of compliance requirements in regulated industries; financial services experience is a plus.
  • Ability to design and implement agent testing strategies, including functional, adversarial, and regression testing.
  • Experience with logging and monitoring agent execution, including tracing tool calls, inspecting conversation state, and surfacing failure modes.
  • Comfort working with Copilot Studio analytics and evaluation capabilities within Agent 365's unified governance plane.
  • Microsoft Certified: AI Agent Builder Associate (Exam AB-620) or equivalent hands-on project depth is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and multi-agent orchestration patterns is preferred.
  • Exposure to Azure AI Foundry or Azure OpenAI Service, especially for grounding and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), is preferred.
  • Background in financial services or other regulated industries with strong data governance and audit trail requirements is preferred.
  • Prior experience deploying Microsoft 365 Copilot at enterprise scale, including licensing, adoption, and change management, is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with hybrid orchestration patterns using Power Automate, Logic Apps, or Microsoft Foundry workflows is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Copilot Cowork and cloud-sandboxed agent execution is preferred.
  • Exposure to private equity data systems such as deal rooms, portfolio management platforms, document repositories, and IC workflow tooling is preferred.
