Description

  • Support the primary Technical Account Manager in monitoring the health and performance of Varicent solutions across a portfolio of VIP customers.
  • Coach users on foundational Varicent functionality, configuration concepts, and best-practice methodologies.
  • Review new features, fixes, and release notes to assess impact on customer environments.
  • Configure Varicent solutions based on documented customer requirements under guidance from the senior TAM.
  • Prepare and share monthly performance, utilization, and support-related metric summaries.
  • Analyze solution usage and data patterns to identify issues and opportunities for optimization.
  • Implement proactive maintenance actions and solution improvements.
  • Collaborate with TAMs and internal teams to troubleshoot errors, investigate defects, and support solution optimization.
  • Identify customer value realization opportunities and surface them to the primary TAM for strategic review.
  • Contribute to customer conversations that position Varicent products as solutions to process challenges and support upsell, cross-sell, and expansion motions.
  • Partner with the TAM team to support sustainable customer engagement, project outcomes, and product adoption.
  • Plan and estimate tasks within the Technical Success journey in alignment with customer VIP entitlement.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand change management processes and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain a reusable object repository with TAMs.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT consulting or enterprise software implementation.
  • Advanced SQL is mandatory.
  • Prior experience with query-based languages and relational databases.
  • Strong technical data skills, including SQL data manipulation and Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of system configurations, data models, and data integration best-practice concepts.
  • Understanding of the Sales Performance Management domain preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Varicent software products preferred, including administering, implementing, or supporting them.
  • Ability to support data validation, report creation, performance troubleshooting, and configuration changes.
  • Ability to progress toward independently performing full TAM duties within 12 months.
  • Ability to perform a complete Annual Health Check and articulate findings, risks, and recommendations.
