Description

  • Support the primary Technical Account Manager in monitoring the health and performance of Varicent solutions across a portfolio of VIP customers.
  • Assist in coaching users on Varicent functionality, configuration concepts, and best-practice methodologies.
  • Review new features, fixes, and release notes to assess potential impact on customer environments.
  • Configure Varicent solutions based on documented customer requirements under guidance from the senior TAM.
  • Prepare and share monthly performance, utilization, and support metric summaries.
  • Analyze solution usage and data patterns to identify potential issues and optimization opportunities.
  • Assist in proactive maintenance actions and solution improvements.
  • Collaborate with TAMs and internal teams to troubleshoot errors, investigate defects, and support optimization efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for customer value realization and surface them for strategic review.
  • Support customer conversations that position Varicent products as solutions to process challenges and enable upsell, cross-sell, and expansion motions.
  • Partner with TAMs to support customer engagement, project outcomes, and product adoption.
  • Contribute to planning and estimating tasks within the Technical Success journey.
  • Work with internal stakeholders on change management processes and recommend improvements where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with TAMs to maintain a reusable object repository.
  • Manage defined customer work and progressively own more of the client portfolio over time.
  • Perform core TAM activities independently after onboarding, including configuration work, troubleshooting, documentation, reporting, and journey execution.
  • Complete annual health checks, articulate findings and recommendations, and support value tracking and cross-sell initiatives.

Requirements

  • Advanced SQL is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT consulting or enterprise software implementation.
  • Prior experience with query-based languages and relational databases.
  • Strong experience with SQL data manipulation and Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of system configurations, data models, and data integration best-practice concepts.
  • Understanding of the Sales Performance Management domain is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Varicent software products, including administering, implementing, and/or supporting them, is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to learn company culture, policies, escalation paths, and internal systems during onboarding.
  • Ability to complete onboarding and training with passing grades and demonstrate responsiveness, professionalism, curiosity, and engagement.
  • Ability to manage a full client portfolio and perform all duties of a TAM after approximately 12 months.
