Description

  • Support the primary Technical Account Manager in monitoring the health and performance of Varicent solutions across a portfolio of VIP customers.
  • Coach users on foundational Varicent functionality, configuration concepts, and best-practice methodologies.
  • Review new features, fixes, and release notes to assess potential impact on customer environments.
  • Configure Varicent solutions based on documented customer requirements under guidance from the senior TAM.
  • Prepare and share monthly performance, utilization, and support-related metric summaries.
  • Analyze solution usage and data patterns to identify issues and opportunities for optimization.
  • Assist with proactive maintenance actions and solution improvements.
  • Collaborate with TAMs and internal teams to troubleshoot errors, investigate defects, and support solution optimization efforts.
  • Identify customer value realization opportunities and surface them to the primary TAM for strategic review.
  • Support customer conversations that position Varicent products as solutions to business process challenges and enable upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities.
  • Contribute to planning and estimating tasks within the Technical Success journey.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand change management processes and recommend improvements where appropriate.
  • Maintain a reusable object repository with TAMs.
  • Manage defined customer work, data validation, report creation, performance troubleshooting, and configuration changes as the role progresses.

Requirements

  • Advanced SQL is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT consulting or enterprise software implementation.
  • Prior experience with query-based languages and relational databases.
  • Strong technical data skills, including SQL data manipulation and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of the Sales Performance Management domain is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Varicent software products is strongly preferred, including administering, implementing, or supporting them.
  • Basic knowledge of system configurations, data models, and data integration best-practice concepts.
  • Ability to complete onboarding and training successfully within the first 1-3 months.
  • Ability to manage defined customer work with some oversight within 4-6 months and a full client portfolio after 7 months.
  • Ability to perform all TAM duties after 12 months, including annual health checks and value tracking.
