Description

  • Lead digital media strategy and planning across paid search, paid social, programmatic display, video, and emerging platforms.
  • Translate client business objectives into full-funnel, performance-driven media strategies.
  • Develop audience-led plans using insights, testing frameworks, and AI-supported planning or forecasting tools.
  • Present media plans, rationale, performance insights, and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
  • Negotiate with media partners and vendors to secure placements, added value, and strong campaign performance.
  • Execute and oversee campaign activation, optimization, and budget pacing across major digital platforms.
  • Identify and test new channels, partners, formats, betas, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Own ongoing performance analysis, measurement, attribution, and insight development across channels.
  • Partner with creative, strategy, analytics, and data teams to ensure integrated, experience-led execution.
  • Mentor junior planners and buyers while helping raise media best practices across the practice.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in digital media planning and buying, ideally in an omni-channel agency environment.
  • Strong hands-on expertise across paid digital channels, including paid social, display, programmatic, online video, and search.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing multi-channel budgets.
  • Working knowledge of tracking methodologies, measurement tools, and ad ops fundamentals.
  • Experience partnering with analytics and data teams on dashboards, reporting, and measurement.
  • Comfort using data to guide decisions, recommendations, and storytelling.
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered marketing, analytics, or productivity tools, and interest in emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team culture.
  • Applicants must be based in Ontario or Québec; Québec-based candidates must be fluent in English.
