Description

  • Manage the scope, budgets, and timelines of e-commerce software development projects.
  • Manage client communications across multiple large-scale development efforts.
  • Maintain project documentation and keep the related knowledge base up to date.
  • Assign tasks, manage workload, and allocate work across project team members.
  • Motivate team members and facilitate productive collaboration within the project team.
  • Anticipate client needs and propose alternative technical solutions through research and consulting.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and career development input for team members.
  • Work in an agile manner with cross-functional global teams to deliver client experiences.
  • Expand domain expertise in e-commerce professional services and stay current on industry trends.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience in a software development environment.
  • Experience managing remote or international project teams.
  • Experience in people management and proven team leadership experience.
  • Solid experience working directly with end customers.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to gather and document project requirements and specifications.
  • Experience translating technical concepts into business language.
  • Ability to allocate work within and between project teams based on task complexity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and work-structuring skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools and MS Project or other project management systems.
  • Technical background is preferred.
  • Professional project management certifications are preferred.
