Description

  • Define and implement enterprise-wide DevSecOps standards, patterns, and guardrails.
  • Design and build security automation for secure CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, and container security.
  • Design and implement cloud-native security tooling and platforms.
  • Lead security reviews, audits, and threat modeling for high-impact platforms and projects.
  • Guide teams on secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and cloud security best practices as a security subject matter expert.
  • Automate compliance and governance requirements at scale.
  • Participate in the security incident lifecycle, including root cause analysis, remediation, postmortem analysis, and resilience improvements.
  • Mentor and coach DevOps and DevSecOps engineers across teams.
  • Advocate for and implement practices that reduce toil and scale security automation.
  • Define, conduct, and manage regular vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.
  • Ensure client systems and applications meet regulatory and organizational security standards such as NIST, ISO, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
  • Define and implement monitoring solutions with a security focus and support incident response and remediation as needed.
  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering or DevSecOps, preferably on large-scale customer-facing platforms.
  • Experience leading DevSecOps initiatives in enterprise or high-traffic production environments.
  • Strong experience with cloud security, mostly Azure.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tooling.
  • Advanced knowledge of container security and orchestration, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
  • Hands-on experience with security scanning tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, Trivy, Aqua, Prisma, and Checkov.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions with a security lens, such as New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
  • Fluency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
  • Experience with IAM, secrets management, and zero-trust principles.
  • Ability to mentor and guide other engineers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Accountability, collaboration, and time-management skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and consulting is a plus.
