Description

  • Design and run the executive operating cadence, including C-suite meetings, leadership offsites, and the CEO's 1:1 rhythm.
  • Build and maintain decision governance infrastructure, including RACI frameworks, decision logs, and commitment tracking.
  • Create scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting rhythms to track transformation priorities, risks, and decisions needing intervention.
  • Partner with the COO and leadership team to synthesize progress, surface slippage early, and improve executive visibility into execution.
  • Own the quality and output of key executive forums by ensuring effective pre-reads, real-time decision capture, follow-through, and escalation.
  • Craft board updates, executive memos, decision briefs, CEO communications, investor-ready narratives, and sensitive internal messaging.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO on strategic priorities, tradeoffs, and sensitive issues.
  • Represent the CEO in selected forums when delegated authority is appropriate and return with recommendations or follow-up actions.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience, including 2+ years in a Chief of Staff, Executive Strategy & Operations, GM, or equivalent operating role.
  • Experience building executive operating rhythm for a 300–600 person professional services or B2B services business.
  • MBA or equivalent education preferred.
  • Professional services, consulting, or B2B services background strongly preferred.
  • Meaningful experience in transformation contexts such as strategic pivots, M&A integration, or major operational change.
  • Experience in PE-backed or high-growth environments is a plus.
  • Board exposure is a plus.
  • Strong executive writing skills are a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require current or future employment visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in the United States, with EST/New York City preferred location and flexible remote work.
  • Fluency in driving accountability through influence and building trust with senior leaders.
  • Structured thinking, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate dependencies and second-order effects.
