Description

  • Develop new institutional accounts within the assigned Great Lakes territory.
  • Research and target key contacts and opportunities in universities and colleges.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, inbound leads, trade show leads, and other outreach channels.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline and forecast new sales revenue.
  • Collaborate with Customer Care to prepare quotes and close sales.
  • Conduct on-site presentations, sales demos, and webinar presentations to student groups.
  • Attend conferences and trade shows to engage B2B and B2C prospects.
  • Manage post-sales support and help maintain year-over-year retention of institutional customers.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to share market insights, customer feedback, and data.
  • Track sales activity details, follow-ups, notes, and call logs while meeting monthly and quarterly goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science, marketing, communications, business, or a relevant field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience, or prior use of UWorld to pass the NCLEX exam.
  • Previous experience in education or publishing sales preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to convert prospects and meet sales quotas.
  • Experience in qualifying opportunities, account development, and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of large groups.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a consultative sales approach.
  • Energetic, outgoing, friendly, persuasive, and goal-oriented demeanor.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% within the defined territory.
