Description

  • Drive program progress from market need identification through sustainment and obsolescence.
  • Manage the customer relationship and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Define program objectives and align the resources needed to execute them.
  • Own the program budget, schedule, key results, and program health reporting.
  • Prepare and present Program Review materials.
  • Own the program schedule and re-baseline it as changes occur.
  • Evaluate technical and program risks and opportunities, and drive mitigation actions.
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact and manage contract scope.
  • Lead customer check-ins and prepare contract deliverables.
  • Collaborate with team members to write, review, and deliver technical outputs.
  • Support business development and capture efforts with cost and schedule inputs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of program management or aerospace leadership experience.
  • Ability to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations and/or program requirements.
  • Proven program management experience, preferably in defense, national security, or aerospace.
  • Experience leading peers to field integrated products in real operating environments.
  • Adaptive and introspective, with a willingness to learn, teach, lead, and follow.
  • Advanced degree in a technical field (preferred).
  • Experience with Department of Defense and government contracts (preferred).
  • Leadership and team-building skills with collaborative influencing and team empowerment experience (preferred).
  • Problem-solving skills and knowledge of program management tools and procedures (preferred).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (preferred).
  • Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

  • Base salary range of $130,000 to $160,000.
