Description

  • Oversee project design intent through all phases of work, from schematic design through construction administration.
  • Manage project documentation and coordinate deliverables among all consultants.
  • Lead technical reviews and code compliance checks for projects.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client communication and internal team coordination.
  • Supervise job captains and production staff to maintain quality control.
  • Provide construction administration support, including RFIs, submittals, and ASIs.
  • Lead full project lifecycles for U.S.-based architectural projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on California projects.
  • At least 5+ years in a project architect role.
  • Proficiency with Revit is mandatory, with working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Strong understanding of California building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work California office hours (PST).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present designs and concepts effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a virtual team.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • A portfolio showcasing architectural work, especially California-based projects.
