Description

  • Oversee accurate and timely federal, state, and local payroll tax filings.
  • Manage payroll tax systems and software, including updates and enhancements.
  • Maintain and validate tax rates, filing frequencies, form inputs, calculations, and payments.
  • Calculate adjustments, deductions, credits, and applicable fees.
  • Track filing activities, deadlines, and special requirements using internal tools and spreadsheets.
  • Research and resolve tax correspondence and inquiries from employees, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support tax registrations and agency setup for new jurisdictions and client expansions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve payroll tax and system issues and provide guidance and support.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Execute special projects assigned by the Vice President of HR Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of payroll tax experience.
  • Experience with ADP SmartCompliance, ADP Registration Services, iReports, Late Original Filing, and PQA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll or tax systems.
  • Strong communication and writing skills for working with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective stakeholder partnerships.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • CPP certification preferred.
