Description

  • Define and deliver the product vision for customer engagement across Upstart’s ecosystem.
  • Build product experiences that improve information architecture, messaging, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Champion the user journey by creating intuitive experiences that build trust and increase lifetime value.
  • Partner with consumer research, product marketing, and data teams to ground decisions in customer behavior and motivation.
  • Drive experimentation at scale using rapid iteration, A/B testing, and clear success metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve activation, retention, and repeat engagement through product changes.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across product, design, engineering, data science, and marketing.
  • Align stakeholders across product lines around a cohesive multi-product experience and shared company goals.
  • Balance short-term optimization with long-term product differentiation and roadmap planning.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of product management experience, with a strong track record in consumer engagement, growth, or retention.
  • Some mobile product experience is preferred.
  • Deep fluency in product discovery and hypothesis-driven development.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and defining success metrics.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and experience aligning diverse stakeholders, including executive leaders.
  • A user-first mindset with the ability to turn customer insights into elegant product experiences.
  • Strong judgment and prioritization skills for evaluating trade-offs and high-leverage opportunities.
  • Experience building consumer products for technology companies is preferred.
  • Experience building and scaling multi-product ecosystems in a B2C environment is preferred.

  • Anticipated base salary of $162,100 to $224,500 USD for U.S. remote candidates.
  • Target bonuses and annual equity grants.
