Description

  • Embed with partner departments to understand their workflows, decision points, systems, and constraints.
  • Design, build, and ship agents and automated workflows that replace manual work and remove bottlenecks.
  • Write production-grade code across integrations, services, data pipelines, agent logic, and internal UI.
  • Connect departmental SaaS tools, internal services, data warehouses, and communication channels through new integrations.
  • Run evaluations and add instrumentation to ensure shipped solutions remain trustworthy in production.
  • Partner with department leadership to decide what to automate, augment, or leave unchanged.
  • Translate learnings from one function into reusable patterns that accelerate future deployments across the company.

Requirements

  • Significant production software engineering experience with services, integrations, data pipelines, and APIs.
  • Hands-on experience building LLM and agentic systems, including prompt and context engineering, tool use, retrieval, evals, agent loops, and failure modes.
  • Experience shipping an agentic product that real people have used.
  • Hands-on familiarity with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
  • Strong ability to work with non-engineering partners and define trusted scopes in planning discussions.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous situations where prototypes may be needed quickly.
  • Bias toward building durable systems that balance quick wins with long-term reliability.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, including explaining what agents can and cannot do to stakeholders.
  • Prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, in internal tooling, or in solutions engineering at a company doing serious AI deployment, preferred.
  • Experience designing evals and observability for agentic systems in production, preferred.
  • Familiarity with MCP, tool-calling frameworks, or agent orchestration platforms, preferred.
  • English proficiency sufficient for frequent professional communication with global colleagues and partners.
  • International relocation support is not available for this position.
