Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend applications using Vue 3, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript tooling.
  • Own complex features from technical design through production release, including UI, APIs, and Python services.
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python to support product features.
  • Build reusable components, patterns, and frontend architecture that improve developer velocity.
  • Improve application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences.
  • Write high-quality tests across the stack using tools such as Vitest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright, and pytest.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor engineers on frontend best practices.
  • Contribute to CI/CD improvements, observability, monitoring, and release quality.
  • Help maintain strong standards around security, privacy, and safe handling of user data.
  • Use AI-powered development tools, including Claude, to accelerate software design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review.
  • Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, maintainability, security, performance, and alignment with architectural standards.
  • Share effective AI workflows, reusable prompts, and best practices that improve team productivity and quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years working in rich, complex, ever-evolving front-end user experiences and building production web applications.
  • Deep experience with Vue.js, preferably Vue 3 and the Composition API.
  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Professional experience building backend services and APIs in Python.
  • Experience with state management patterns and libraries such as Pinia, Vuex, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of component architecture and design systems.
  • Experience integrating applications with REST, GraphQL, or event-driven APIs.
  • Strong testing experience, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Understanding of frontend performance optimization, bundle analysis, caching, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and semantic HTML.
  • Experience working with relational databases.
  • Hands-on professional experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor as part of a regular workflow.
  • Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams and leading technical initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Interest in the cannabis industry and/or the LeafLink brand.
