Description

  • Manage the product roadmap for Onyx, the Online Math Academy, and other core digital products.
  • Balance near-term feature updates with long-term infrastructure, scalability, and product strategy goals.
  • Define product requirements with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Lead product transition and integration into the Canvas LMS, including data acquisition and system interoperability.
  • Partner with content, program design, and research teams to align products with high-quality instructional materials and evidence-based professional learning.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on product rollout, user onboarding, and market positioning.
  • Bridge engineering teams and organizational leadership by communicating progress, impact, and roadblocks.
  • Incorporate educator feedback, research, analytics, and KPI performance data into product improvements.
  • Ensure products meet accessibility, security, and usability standards for educators serving Multilingual Learners.
  • Lead agile delivery practices, including SCRUM, product backlog prioritization, and development of practice-embedded learning artifacts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Product Development, Education, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in product management, EdTech, or related technology project management.
  • Experience driving complex projects in an agile software development environment.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, LMS platforms—particularly Canvas—and data-sharing or CRM systems such as Salesforce and Qualtrics.
  • Ability to analyze varied problems and implement solutions using data, established precedents, and standard EdTech practices.
  • Understanding of adult learning design and research-based instructional practices.
  • Strong communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and UnboundEd’s mission and values.
  • Knowledge of urban school environments and experience working with educators or education systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, build cross-geography relationships, and use Google Workspace and Slack; CSPO or similar certification is a plus.

  • Annual salary range of $84,700–$119,650, based on experience, internal equity, and company budgets.
