Description

  • Monitor production and pre-production environments for application issues and failures.
  • Perform triage and root cause analysis for incidents in microservice-based applications.
  • Debug and support applications built with C#, .NET, Web API, and .NET Core.
  • Work with REST web services and third-party API integrations using JSON/XML.
  • Use browser network tools, AWS Console, ELK, Kibana, and local debuggers to track failures.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate findings clearly.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery processes, ceremonies, and tools.
  • Provide independent and immediate value by quickly learning the application and environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience triaging and supporting applications with microservice architecture.
  • Experience developing with Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET, Web API, and .NET Core.
  • Experience debugging C#, .NET, Web API, and .NET Core applications.
  • Experience with REST web services/APIs and third-party integrations using JSON/XML.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with AWS services and components such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, DynamoDB, ELK, and Kibana.
  • Preferred experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, ceremonies, processes, and tools.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and contribute independently.
  • Remote work arrangement.
  • 6+ months contract with extensions.
