Description

  • Manage and strategically expand relationships with High Tech customer accounts.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to deliver revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results.
  • Drive the full sales process from prospecting through deal closure and launch.
  • Lead consultative sales cycles centered on discovery, customer needs, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Translate customer technical requirements into solutions using Twilio’s communications API platform.
  • Communicate effectively with developers, managers, executives, and other customer stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across product, finance, partners, support, and services.
  • Maintain a disciplined forecast and present guidance to executive management.

Requirements

  • 5 years of sales experience, including at least 1 year in major account or strategic sales.
  • Track record of selling complex technical solutions.
  • Experience with net revenue retention, growth, relationship management, cross-sells, upsells, and solutions consulting.
  • Ability to work with both business and highly technical leaders and build supportive partnerships.
  • Analytical account development approach using data to identify opportunities and prove value.
  • Consistent success exceeding quota.
  • Demonstrated experience managing business forecasts and financial models.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to define processes and build programs.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, LinkedIn SalesNav, Looker, Tableau, and G-Suite, including proficiency in Google Sheets.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Preferred: experience selling API-based solutions.
  • Preferred: deep experience with telecom companies, SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms (CPaaS or PaaS).
  • Preferred: domain expertise in highly quantitative industries such as DevOps, fintech, advertising optimization, investment banking, security, or commodity trading.
  • Preferred: software, SaaS, CPaaS, or PaaS selling experience.
