Description

  • Cultivate growth of key use cases with strategic Martech ISV customers on the Twilio platform, especially in messaging and email.
  • Own consultative sales cycles to retain existing business, expand into new use cases, and win new Martech ISV customers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with services, product, and finance to build and execute long-range account plans.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to product, finance, and carrier relations teams.
  • Monitor AI, data, and communications industry developments and new capabilities on behalf of customers and the go-to-market organization.
  • Manage critical escalations and design account support strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead high-stakes negotiations that drive long-term growth for both Twilio and its customers.
  • Collaborate across customer and internal teams as the relationship owner for strategic accounts.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of combined experience in major account or strategic sales managing quantitative, highly analytical products or solutions.
  • Comfort working with business and highly technical leaders while influencing decisions and building partnerships.
  • Analytical account development strategy focused on using data to identify opportunities and prove value.
  • Proven ability to manage business forecasts and financial models for 8-figure deals and annual revenue under management.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to define process and build programs.
  • Track record of delivering market-driven results, especially with scale and enterprise customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Preferred: prior experience in technical engineering disciplines, especially Sales Engineering or FDE.
  • Preferred: deep experience with telecom companies, including SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms.
  • Preferred: domain expertise in highly quantitative industries such as advertising optimization, investment banking, security, or commodity trading.
  • Preferred: software, SaaS, CPaaS, or PaaS experience.
  • Preferred: fluency using AI for personal efficiency or broad problem analysis.
