Description

  • Set and execute the global analyst relations strategy across Twilio’s core and emerging portfolio in partnership with Communications, PMM, and R&D.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with tier-one analyst firms and industry consultants.
  • Lead strategic advisory sessions, briefings, inquiries, and flagship analyst events such as the Analyst Summit.
  • Identify opportunities to expand analyst coverage into new and emerging market categories and feed insights back into the business.
  • Own the end-to-end strategy and content submission process for major market reports and analyst evaluations.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and senior leadership to position Twilio competitively in analyst reports.
  • Advise senior executives and product leaders on messaging and prepare spokespeople for high-stakes analyst engagements.
  • Scale and optimize the AR function by improving organizational structure, managing budgets, and implementing better processes.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing analyst relations team.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in tech, specifically within B2B SaaS, developer platforms, or data infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of securing leadership positioning in major analyst reports such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC.
  • Experience executing global, multi-category communication strategies.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and ability to influence C-suite and VP-level audiences.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and quantitative skills to analyze complex market data and turn it into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including attracting, mentoring, motivating, and performance-managing a growing team.
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate across matrixed stakeholders, and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.
  • Role is remote but not eligible for hire in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, or WA.
