Description

  • Manage and maintain AV equipment, including setup, installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance across office spaces, meeting rooms, and event venues.
  • Provide technical support during meetings, conferences, and events to ensure reliable operation of audio, video, projection, and video conferencing systems.
  • Collaborate with event organizers to assess AV needs and recommend equipment, setup, and configuration.
  • Support remote events such as webinars, virtual conferences, and live streams to ensure high-quality audio and video.
  • Provide executive-level AV support for industry conferences, including setup, rehearsals, troubleshooting, and on-site assistance.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new AV tools, software, equipment, and emerging technologies.
  • Manage AV inventory and track equipment usage, maintenance, and replacement needs.
  • Partner with IT, facilities, event planning, and external vendors to coordinate AV support and procurement.
  • Train end users on AV equipment operation, best practices, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain AV documentation, including setup instructions, troubleshooting guides, and equipment specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Audiovisual Technology, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-6 years of experience using AV and events software such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or WebEx.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours to support events and executive needs.
  • Mac OS proficiency and familiarity with Windows OS for remote troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of basic conference room signal flow troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard equipment and peripherals such as Crestron, Neat, and Logitech.
  • Strong knowledge of AV technologies, including audio systems, video conferencing systems, projectors, displays, and lighting.
  • Experience with AV control systems and software such as Crestron, Extron, or similar platforms.
  • Previous experience with remote event support and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Experience writing support documentation for end users.
  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification or similar AV-related certification.
  • Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP), Extron AV Associate, Event Technology Specialist (ETS), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow as a ticketing system.
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Microsoft equivalent.
  • AVIXA CTS-D or CTS-I certification preferred.
