Description

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Consult with school administrators to understand district needs and position services effectively.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations for key decision-makers.
  • Refine sales processes and identify opportunities to improve conversion and close knowledge gaps.
  • Develop processes to identify at-risk deals and collaborate across departments to address concerns.
  • Share customer feedback with internal teams to help refine the product.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and other teams to support onboarding and implementation of new clients.
  • Stay current on market trends and competitor activity, including travel to conferences or partner schools as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience at the school or district level, such as Principal, Assistant Superintendent, or Superintendent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with school administrators and stakeholders.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve.
  • Ability to pivot, adapt, and solve problems in a startup environment.
  • 3+ years of proven success in sales, especially in education, edtech, or service sales (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience working remotely or in a virtual sales environment.
  • Passion for education and closing the opportunity gap.
