Description

  • Advise client business and technology stakeholders on Data & AI architecture.
  • Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, solution design, and modernization roadmaps.
  • Define scalable, secure, governed, and AI-ready architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Azure services.
  • Architect lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, batch and streaming, semantic model, API, analytics, and AI solutions.
  • Establish strategies for data products, enterprise data models, metadata, lineage, data quality, and master data.
  • Design AI platforms supporting Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, AI Search, RAG, vector search, data agents, and AI applications.
  • Embed governance, privacy, security, observability, evaluation, MLOps, and LLMOps into solution designs.
  • Communicate architecture trade-offs, risks, costs, and recommendations to executive and technical audiences.
  • Support presales through solution shaping, estimation, proposals, presentations, and statements of work.
  • Mentor architects and engineering teams while guiding implementation and collaborating with Microsoft stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of technology experience, including enterprise data platforms, cloud, analytics, and architecture.
  • 5+ years of architecture or senior technical leadership experience delivering large-scale enterprise data solutions.
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Azure data and analytics architecture and modernization roadmaps.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Databricks, including OneLake, lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, data engineering, and semantic models.
  • Knowledge of Medallion Architecture, data products, semantic layers, batch and streaming systems, APIs, and event-driven integration.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, distributed processing, data modeling, integration patterns, and APIs.
  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Fabric Data Agents, Generative AI, RAG, vector search, and Agentic AI.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Unity Catalog, governance, security, privacy, metadata, lineage, and data quality.
  • Strong client-facing communication, presales, estimation, presentation, proposal, and executive engagement skills; relevant Microsoft or Databricks certifications preferred.
