Description

  • Join morning meetings with internal teams and clients to align on project work.
  • Participate in requirements analysis and design discussions for new projects.
  • Work issues in Jira with the team to build systems and deliver project tasks.
  • Create CloudFormation and Serverless templates to deploy AWS resources.
  • Build and deploy solutions for client projects within the AWS Practice.
  • Develop internal tools that improve the process of delivering projects.
  • Suggest new methods for designing and building systems.
  • Provide feedback to team leads on issues encountered during delivery.
  • Collaborate with a mentor or team lead to expand knowledge of AWS services, tools, and languages.
  • Learn and apply best practices from Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and AWS communities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of development experience.
  • 3+ years of development experience focused on Node.js and/or TypeScript with AWS services.
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
  • Advanced understanding of how the web works.
  • Functional understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback.
  • Desire to assist other team members and collaborate effectively.
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
  • Interest in current development best practices and the latest AWS services.
