Description

  • Define and execute the Go-To-Market strategy for the Enterprise segment and own departmental KPIs.
  • Own multi-year revenue forecasting and market share expansion for enterprise customers.
  • Lead pursuit and closing of complex, high-ACV enterprise opportunities, including global commercial and technical negotiations.
  • Serve as a player-coach: mentor and act as a formal deal coach to junior and mid-level Sales Executives to improve consultative selling, discovery, and closing ratios.
  • Design and evolve the sales methodology and repeatable sales processes to operate in ambiguous, highly regulated environments.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in the product roadmap by translating merchant requirements and regulatory trends into actionable product inputs.
  • Forge deep alliances with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to streamline quote-to-cash for bespoke payment integrations.
  • Represent Trustly at industry conferences and executive roundtables to position the company within the global payments ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant sales experience with 8–10+ years focused on Enterprise Payment Acceptance (Acquiring, Processing, or Open Banking).
  • Proven experience leading, managing, or mentoring sales teams and improving team performance.
  • Expert-level understanding of the global payments value chain, including interchange and settlement cycles.
  • Deep knowledge of API-driven financial services and the technical nuances of payment integrations.
  • Established CXO-level relationships within Fortune 500 companies and strong executive presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to design complex, multi-year commercial agreements that balance merchant ROI with company profitability and risk appetite.
  • Experience navigating highly regulated environments and creating structured, repeatable sales processes from ambiguity.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills to articulate vision to both technical engineers and non-technical financial executives.
