Description

  • Independently diagnose complex system failures through log analysis and database debugging.
  • Own the investigation of reported issues and turn anomalies into actionable bug reports.
  • Translate technical blockers into clear business impact updates for stakeholders and Tier 1 support.
  • Write decision trees and troubleshooting workflows that help others resolve lower-tier issues.
  • Use GenAI tools to summarize logs, explain application logic, and draft SQL queries.
  • Identify recurring system issues and escalate broader platform friction points with data-backed summaries.
  • Explain investigation methods and findings to Tier 1 colleagues to improve team capability.
  • Collaborate with engineering by providing high-fidelity bug validations that streamline the fix cycle.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in technical support engineering or platform enablement.
  • Proficiency with log analysis tools such as Datadog and Observe.
  • Strong SQL skills for database debugging.
  • Ability to manually test APIs using Postman or cURL and validate JSON payloads.
  • Experience using Browser DevTools to diagnose client-side failures.
  • Ability to navigate source code and correlate application logic with backend logs.
  • Self-starter who can prioritize a high volume of triage tasks and long-term process improvements.
  • Experience using GenAI tools such as Gemini, Claude, or GitHub Copilot for scripting and log summarization.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues and business impact clearly.
