Description

  • Contribute innovative ideas to technical and product roadmaps and estimate effort for discovery and execution.
  • Work with product managers and engineers to translate business needs into scalable technical implementations.
  • Proactively identify potential code issues and anticipate downstream impacts before problems occur.
  • Own complex initiatives end to end from scoping with stakeholders through production deployment and maintenance.
  • Improve code quality through detailed code reviews and team best practices for AI-assisted development.
  • Track tech debt rigorously and introduce new techniques to resolve it.
  • Solve the most challenging problems in the area independently as a technical authority.
  • Mentor engineers and share knowledge to support team growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, or a similar quantitative field.
  • Proven experience with AWS, including S3 and Lambda.
  • Proven experience with SageMaker to build, train, and deploy machine learning models at scale.
  • Mastery of Python.
  • Deep experience with ML techniques such as regression, classification, and optimization.
  • Ability to make well-reasoned design trade-offs and advise across multiple components of a domain.
  • Experience using AI tools to rapidly prototype features and define validation standards for AI-generated code.
  • Solid understanding of product experiment design, analytics, and statistically rigorous analysis.
  • Familiarity with modern ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and libraries like Pandas and Numpy.
  • Experience building model development pipelines and productionizing models at scale.
