Description

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize enterprise vulnerabilities while developing and tuning detection logic.
  • Design and implement detection and enrichment systems for security telemetry, logs, and threat-intelligence data.
  • Lead security engineering initiatives focused on detection, vulnerability analytics, and defensive technologies.
  • Configure data pipelines and telemetry ingestion processes to produce time- and location-based risk forecasts from five or more years of historical data.
  • Integrate security solutions with SIEM, ticketing, operational systems, and the STRIDE platform.
  • Validate data integrity, detection performance, forecast accuracy, and system reliability.
  • Monitor and optimize analytics performance for scalability, efficiency, and low false-positive rates in cloud environments.
  • Use SIEM, vulnerability scanners, AWS security services, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and custom security frameworks.
  • Assess model and detection risks, biases, coverage gaps, and regulatory alignment.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of detections, analytics, and models.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in security engineering, vulnerability management, or detection engineering.
  • U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo a U.S. Government background investigation.
  • Hands-on experience with security analytics, detection frameworks, Python scripting, automation, and major cloud platforms.
  • Experience with large-scale data stores, search or vector databases, and retrieval-based security analysis architectures.
  • Experience with advanced querying, detection engineering, model and detection tuning, and analytics automation.
  • Experience evaluating, monitoring, validating, benchmarking, and deploying detections and models.
  • Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Hugging Face, LangChain, and API-driven analytics tooling preferred.
  • Experience with Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or Chroma preferred.
