Implement machine learning algorithms for personalization in gaming and evaluate what works best for the company’s games and data.
Design experiments and prototypes to test the viability and efficiency of new AI models.
Translate research findings into algorithm prototypes within the codebase.
Convert prototypes into production-ready code and support deployment through the ML lifecycle.
Design, develop, and evaluate A/B tests to measure personalization effectiveness and optimize player experience.
Continuously monitor and analyze player data to identify new personalization opportunities and improve existing algorithms.
Document work clearly to support knowledge sharing within the team.
Collaborate with data, engineering, product, marketing, and game studio teams across the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics, or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of industry-standard machine learning techniques, from classification to reinforcement learning and generative methods.
Experience applying machine learning algorithms to real-world problems.
Experience with software development practices including CI/CD, version control, Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps concepts.
Proficiency with analytical programming and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, and matplotlib.
Familiarity with supporting tools and platforms such as git, MLFlow, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Trino, and AirFlow.
Strong understanding of statistical concepts including hypothesis testing, sampling, and probability distributions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
Experience using generative AI copilots or agents in daily development work.
Passion for mobile gaming and a desire to create engaging player experiences and drive business results.
Experience with reinforcement learning is a plus.
Experience with A/B testing in an online gaming context is a plus.
Experience working in the games industry is a plus.
