Description

  • Coordinate presale efforts across the full proposal cycle, from initial client clarification to final presentation.
  • Lead the development of proposal documents, presentations, and financial models.
  • Facilitate internal meetings for opportunity qualification, sales strategy alignment, and proposal review.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to bring the right expertise into proposals.
  • Present proposals to clients and lead meetings with VP- and CxO-level stakeholders.
  • Handle delivery-related objections and align expectations with Sales and Delivery.
  • Balance competing internal priorities to produce competitive proposals without risky over-commitments.
  • Contribute to presale function improvements, including templates, practices, and AI-augmented processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial software development experience in enterprise-level systems in the role of Project Manager or Delivery Manager.
  • Experience coordinating presales efforts from the initial meeting through proposal presentation and delivery-related objection handling.
  • Experience facilitating estimation sessions and converting effort estimates into delivery plans and roadmaps.
  • Understanding of presales specifics, including time limitations and ambiguity.
  • Experience with both informal, highly interactive presales and formal RFP responses.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders from the USA and/or Europe.
  • Experience presenting proposals and facilitating client calls with VP- and CxO-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate a group of SMEs and turn them into a highly productive team.
  • Hands-on experience with document and presentation tools such as MS Word, Google Docs, MS PowerPoint, or Google Slides.
  • Understanding of the financial aspects of software delivery, including revenue, margin, and costs.
  • Understanding of typical delivery models such as project-based vs. talent-based, Time-and-Materials, and Fixed Price.
  • Advanced level of English or higher.
  • Experience using AI tools within the presales cycle is a nice to have.
  • Experience facilitating client workshops is a nice to have.
