Description

  • Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards aligned with a prime model architecture.
  • Build and maintain Qlik Sense visualizations and dashboards in Qlik Cloud Service.
  • Migrate and re-platform existing SSRS reports into Power BI or Qlik Sense environments.
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into development specifications and operational checklists.
  • Maintain and evolve complex semantic models across finance, operations, and clinical data domains.
  • Ensure visual consistency and adherence to reporting templates across delivered reports and dashboards.
  • Create and maintain BI documentation, including report catalogs, data dictionaries, measure and dimension definitions, and business glossaries.
  • Support monthly KPI dashboard distribution and ad hoc development changes.
  • Participate in regular status check-ins and bi-weekly planning syncs with the BI Manager.
  • Manage work items and project tracking in Zoho while supporting report archival and reactivation documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience, including semantic modeling, DAX, and report design.
  • Solid Qlik Sense experience, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Strong SQL / T-SQL skills for data exploration and query development.
  • Experience working with complex, multi-source data models.
  • Ability to understand and document unfamiliar data schemas independently.
  • Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation such as data dictionaries, catalogs, and commented code.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate them into development specifications and operational checklists.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Comfort working asynchronously and autonomously across time zones.
  • Experience in healthcare, compliance, or operations analytics environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SSIS and/or Databricks, with data pipeline awareness rather than authoring required.
  • Experience with Power BI lifecycle management, including dev/test/prod workspace structures, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools and the ability to review generated schemas and DAX/SQL.
  • Prior exposure to SSRS report migration projects is preferred.
  • Experience with Zoho or similar project tracking platforms is preferred.
  • Exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop or similar remote development environments is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HL7 and FHIR standards within healthcare data and interoperability is preferred.
