Description

  • Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting tools.
  • Support guided analytics, embedded analytics, and data-as-a-service capabilities to improve business decision-making.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and define reporting needs.
  • Gather, clean, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources into cohesive datasets.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through validation and quality checks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integrity and reporting issues with IT, Data Governance, and Data Engineering teams.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Support the adoption of self-service reporting and analytics solutions across the organization.
  • Optimize and enhance data pipelines, reporting processes, and dashboard functionality.
  • Document reporting processes, methodologies, and technical requirements to support ongoing improvements.
  • Provide informal mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members when needed.

Requirements

  • Strong experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience conducting exploratory data analysis and working with large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and analytics methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT, Data Governance, and Data Engineering.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
