Description

  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert for the US MGA and Program business and its associated data.
  • Expand and maintain data standards, data dictionaries, and data templates in collaboration with business and technology teams.
  • Negotiate with program managers and partners to collect required policy, premium, claims, and risk exposure data.
  • Manage end-to-end data onboarding into the Bordereaux Management System (BMS).
  • Analyze, map, validate, and reconcile data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with source files.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to integrate data into the BMS.
  • Perform acceptance testing on loaded data and resolve or escalate data quality issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with BI teams and stakeholders to develop insights, analytics, and reports.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends and risks, and assess compliance with program and binding authority agreements.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes and maintain process and training documentation for bordereaux procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analysis and data management.
  • 5+ years of experience in the (Re)insurance industry across US Property & Casualty, International Markets, and Life, Accident & Health segments.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and Spark.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling and data processing frameworks such as SSIS, Python, and Databricks.
  • Excellent data analysis, data management, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively within a global organization at all levels.
  • Experience with ACORD and Lloyd’s standards, bordereaux data, or processing requirements is preferred.
