Description

  • Manage multiple concurrent client engagements through the full project lifecycle.
  • Own project scope, timeline, and budget while keeping clients informed and engineers focused on technical execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication, including status updates, working sessions, escalations, and regular check-ins.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client accounts into larger scopes, retainers, or follow-on work.
  • Partner with the sales team on returning-client opportunities and hand off expansion conversations seamlessly.
  • Coordinate with Engineering Directors and engineers to staff projects and manage scheduling.
  • Maintain project and account information in tools such as Float, Asana, and HubSpot.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives such as marketing event attendance and internal process improvements.
  • Translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders and communicate client goals back to engineering teams.
  • Present project status, risks, and recommendations to executive and C-suite stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Direct experience managing client-facing engagements in a consulting, advisory, or services firm.
  • Experience owning scope, timeline, and budget for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain client relationships across and between engagements.
  • Experience growing client accounts through expanded scopes, retainers, or follow-on work.
  • Experience working with sales teams to scope, propose, and close work with new and returning clients.
  • Ability to operate effectively in environments with evolving or undefined processes.
  • Strong technical communication skills for both non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Experience presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to executive or C-suite stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools as part of daily work, including Claude or similar tools.
  • Fluency with Slack, Google Workspace, and a project tracking tool such as Asana, GitHub, or equivalent; HubSpot or another CRM is a plus.
  • Nice to have: background in cybersecurity, especially advisory services or incident response.
  • Nice to have: experience with retainer-based or recurring services revenue models.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with Asana, Float, and HubSpot specifically.
  • Nice to have: exposure to blockchain, cryptography, or AI/ML security.
