Description

  • Lead technical delivery and quality across application security engagements.
  • Review audit findings, direct complex technical approaches, and provide senior expertise on projects.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and support sophisticated security engagements.
  • Manage project staffing, utilization, hiring needs, and the practice’s profit and loss.
  • Develop engineers through mentorship, career growth, conference participation, research, and open-source contributions.
  • Set direction for security tooling, methodologies, and capability development.
  • Champion AI-assisted auditing, reporting, and research workflows.
  • Perform hands-on source-code review, static analysis, fuzzing, and protocol-level vulnerability research.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of security experience, including significant source-code auditing experience.
  • Demonstrable hands-on security work within the past 12 months, such as code review, vulnerability research, or tool development.
  • Experience leading 8+ engineers through client engagements with direct financial accountability.
  • Proficiency in at least four of Rust, Go, Python, C/C++, Solidity, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience managing project profitability, utilization, and staffing in a consulting environment.
  • Track record of developing engineers’ careers and external visibility through talks, publications, or open source.
  • Proficiency with AI coding and analysis tools.
  • Active contributions to the security community through research, tools, advisories, or publications.

  • Base salary of $250,000–$300,000 plus performance-based bonuses.
