Description

  • Manage and resolve platform tickets related to data infrastructure and user access.
  • Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code modules and templates using Terraform.
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD framework components for data platform deployments.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries and scripts for troubleshooting and automation.
  • Build Python utilities and scripts to support deployment frameworks and tooling.
  • Configure and manage user personas, permissions, and role mappings for platform access.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to prioritize fixes and enhancements.
  • Document operational procedures, runbooks, and deployment patterns.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in platform, infrastructure engineering, or administration.
  • Strong practical experience with Terraform, including creating or modifying reusable infrastructure modules.
  • Proficient in SQL for platform support and analysis.
  • Solid Python experience for scripting, automation, and framework support.
  • Experience handling ticket queues and providing timely operational support.
  • Experience working with Databricks environments or integrations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and contributing to CI/CD frameworks.
  • Comfort performing both engineering work and administrative platform tasks.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize operational requests and engineering improvements in a changing environment.
  • Experience configuring or supporting identities, permissions, roles, or access-control mappings.
  • Engagement length of 12 months or more.
  • Availability to work CST business hours (9am - 5pm).
  • BYOD laptop requirement.
  • No overtime required.
