Description

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that power the data architecture.
  • Structure and optimize tables and views for fast, reliable reporting and dashboard performance.
  • Build data quality checks, validation, and documentation to ensure trusted reporting.
  • Partner with BI analysts and business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into data models and pipelines.
  • Support and evolve leadership-critical deliverables, including the enterprise SPI dashboard and TES/WBR metrics reporting.
  • Help migrate AWS/Athena-based data delivery to the Databricks platform.
  • Define, instrument, and maintain business KPIs using SQL and Python.
  • Contribute to hands-on dashboard development as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering or software engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines, data quality checks, and reporting-friendly tables/views.
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, or similar for pipeline and ETL development.
  • Experience with pandas, numpy, or other data analysis tooling.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.
  • Ability to work with ambiguous, evolving requirements and partner directly with stakeholders.
  • Experience with the Databricks platform, especially for serving data, visualizations, and jobs, is preferred.
  • AWS experience, particularly Athena, Glue, or other managed data services, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of relational, NoSQL, vector, and data warehouse architectures is preferred.
  • Hands-on dashboard-building experience, or strong interest in developing it, is preferred.
  • Experience scaling data for ML/AI workloads such as Ray is preferred.
  • Background in automotive, AV, robotics, or other safety-critical data environments is preferred.

Benefits

  • US pay range of $139,000 to $166,800.
  • Remote candidates are considered.
