Description

  • Write software to integrate external sensors into the system.
  • Perform system-level debugging and performance tuning.
  • Develop shell scripts and automation tools.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Hardware, and Networking teams.
  • Ensure system security, stability, and scalability.
  • Manage package builds and deployments.
  • Contribute to documentation and technical design discussions.
  • Optimize performance, memory usage, and real-time behavior of embedded applications.
  • Integrate and maintain third-party and open-source software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-5+ years of experience.
  • Experience with device drivers and user-space drivers, including PCIe, DMA, Ethernet, and CAN.
  • Experience with Linux development in embedded systems and latency analysis tools such as CyclicTest and ftrace.
  • Knowledge of building real-time embedded systems for automotive or similar industries.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • Knowledge of build systems such as Make, CMake, Yocto, Buildstream, and Bazel.
  • Familiarity with namespace isolation technologies such as containers and cgroups.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, SSH, and HTTP.
  • Experience with debugging tools such as GDB, strace, and Valgrind.
  • Experience working in multi-threaded, multi-core, and multi-processor systems.
  • Understanding of operating system concepts such as semaphores, mutexes, message queues, and shared memory.
  • Familiarity with hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, Automotive Ethernet, CAN, and GPIO.
  • Knowledge of version control, CI/CD practices, and issue tracking systems.
  • Experience with Python, Bash scripting, or similar automation and testing tools.
  • Exposure to Nvidia DriveOS.
  • Experience working with scrum or Agile teams.
  • Knowledge of ISO 61508 and/or ISO 26262 is desirable.
  • Automotive ASPICE knowledge and V-cycle experience.
