Description

  • Analyze marketing data, build models, test hypotheses, forecast performance, and create Tableau reports and SQL scripts to inform decisions.
  • Use descriptive and diagnostic analytics to deliver actionable recommendations for marketing leaders.
  • Define and standardize metrics that align with company strategy and encourage the right behaviors.
  • Measure and diagnose SEM, SEO, and Generative AI channel performance to guide budget allocation and channel strategy.
  • Map marketing processes and channel journeys to underlying data flows across acquisition, engagement, and revenue generation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, conversion, revenue generation, client and talent experience, operations, and cash usage.
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders, data analysts, and business process owners to support data-driven decision making and balance competing requests.
  • Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, and assess AI-driven search and referral channel impact.
  • Build and maintain marketing data infrastructure and integrate tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Ads.
  • Support leadership with insights, reports, root-cause analysis, and strategic recommendations as the function evolves.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or business intelligence, with a focus on marketing analytics.
  • 2+ years of experience in general consulting or an analytical operations function.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing SEM, SEO, and Generative AI / AI-driven search channels.
  • Strong background in math, science, finance, engineering, or statistics, plus deep business insight; advanced degree and/or MBA is a plus.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL; experience with R, Python, or MATLAB is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT for analysis, automation, and reporting.
  • Experience with exploratory data analysis, prototyping, hypothesis testing, root cause analysis, forecasting, predictive modeling, and defining metrics.
  • Track record of connecting data and analytics to marketing strategy, financial performance, and operations.
  • Working knowledge of probability and statistics; process improvement experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to explain complex issues clearly, challenge assumptions, and communicate limitations and blind spots.
  • Strong technical background in marketing data infrastructure and Google products, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Ads.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company and handle a wide variety of challenges and deadlines.
  • Must be a world-class individual contributor.
