Description

  • Define and execute the overall Management Consulting strategy and go-to-market (GTM) plan to launch and grow the business line.
  • Own the business P&L and optimize supply and demand to balance top-line growth with operational efficiency and gross margin targets.
  • Identify and analyze market and industry opportunities, define a compelling value proposition, and prioritize initiatives with highest potential.
  • Build, test, and iterate new service offerings with clients using agile feedback loops to achieve product-market fit.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Talent Operations, Legal, and Delivery to ensure scalable delivery and launch readiness.
  • Engage directly with new and existing clients as a trusted business partner, participate in account planning, and support client pursuits and delivery.
  • Establish analytics, feedback loops, and KPIs to measure revenue growth, pipeline health, and performance; continuously refine strategy based on data.
  • Represent the Toptal brand internally and externally, secure executive alignment and stakeholder buy-in, and rally teams around shared goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience driving and managing a business with strong understanding of business operations and management principles.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a business with direct P&L ownership.
  • Deep connections and an active network within the HLS industry (Healthcare & Life Sciences) required.
  • Experience in a professional services organization and demonstrated success launching or scaling a new business or service offering.
  • Experience at a technology or hyper-growth company strongly preferred; top-tier management consulting experience (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to establish high-impact, revenue-generating commercial relationships and strong commercial acumen.
  • Experience with marketing technology and automation, including familiarity with marketing platforms and CRMs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, relationship development, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Authorized to work in the US at time of hire; able to work remotely, attend virtual team meetings on camera, and use digital collaboration tools; resumes and communications must be submitted in English.
