Description

Lead fellow developers, product managers, and designers to build employee management features.
Design, estimate, implement, test, and debug end-to-end software solutions.
Develop scalable full-stack solutions in a collaborative team environment.
Mentor developers through code pairing and detailed code, architecture, and project reviews.
Champion best practices for development, deployment, and quality lifecycles.
Contribute to product design and feature selection discussions.
Help create experiences that make it easier for customers and employees to interact with employee management tools.

Requirements

Strong foundation in Java, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages.
Expertise in using AI tools throughout the development lifecycle.
Exposure to building AI solutions for customers.
Experience with modern web standards and technologies such as React, TypeScript, REST, and GraphQL.
Proven ability to build partnerships across engineering, product, customer success, and other stakeholders.
Experience and interest in mentoring peers.
Experience maintaining a high bar for quality and guiding teams to do the same.
Strong customer empathy and a drive to improve user experience through thoughtful technical solutions.
Remote location in Canada.
Preferred experience in a tech lead capacity is implied by the role title.

Benefits

Base salary range of $142,000 to $227,000 CAD.
Additional cash compensation may be available, including overtime and bonus/commissions if eligible.
