Description

  • Prepare accounting schedules in Excel, including reserves for doubtful accounts and employee bonuses.
  • Prepare depreciation, amortization, and prepaid asset schedules.
  • Prepare salespeople variable compensation schedules.
  • Assist with client invoicing and accounts receivable collections.
  • Support recurring finance functions including payroll, insurance, financial filings, audit, month-end close, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Prepare financial analyses and update budgets and forecasts under the Head of Finance’s guidance.
  • Assist with cap table and equity management.
  • Help prepare materials for board meetings and board consents.
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO, COO, Financial Controller, and Head of Finance.
  • Identify workflow improvements and help implement operational systems.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a junior finance, financial analyst, accounting assistant, or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts and principles, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Accounts Receivable Aging, debits and credits, journal entries, reserves, and accruals.
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Basic experience using QuickBooks Online.
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, calm under pressure, analytical, logical, and data-driven.
  • Tech-savvy and able to adapt quickly to new tools and platforms.
  • Helpful but not required: experience with Ramp or payroll platforms such as TriNet, ADP, or Justworks.
