Description

  • Build AI-powered product features and maintain the AI platform that supports them.
  • Develop tooling and libraries that help other engineers build higher-quality software.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to solve customer problems and deliver the right solutions.
  • Write and review high-quality, well-tested code to keep the product stable and the codebase maintainable.
  • Own software features and problems through to production, including responding to customer feedback and iterating on solutions.
  • Identify improvements in the codebase and in team processes, and help drive those changes.
  • Mentor and support other engineers to help them grow their abilities.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to take features from early technical planning through final UI fixes.
  • Research, evaluate, and introduce new models and AI capabilities to improve product offerings.
  • Support deployment and optimization of AI models in self-hosted environments.

Requirements

  • Roughly 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Direct experience building and delivering software using a high-level programming language.
  • Comfort working on small command-line app feature exercises at a moderate level of technical complexity.
  • Interest in learning Ruby and TypeScript, which are the team’s main languages.
  • Ability to work broadly across the stack rather than in a narrowly specialized role.
  • Familiarity with simple, common tools such as Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, and Docker is preferred.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work fully remote within Ireland.
  • Willingness to contribute in a healthy, sustainable, and collaborative team environment.
  • Cybersecurity knowledge is not required for this role.
