Description

  • Build and maintain mobile applications across iOS with Swift and Android with Kotlin.
  • Own features end-to-end from technical design through implementation, testing, and release.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
  • Integrate with backend APIs and help shape API contracts for mobile use cases.
  • Implement and maintain push notification systems such as APNs and FCM.
  • Ensure mobile applications are performant, reliable, and responsive in production.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions around mobile platform strategy and shared patterns.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues using logs, monitoring tools, and user feedback.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain a high bar for code quality and maintainability.
  • Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding where it improves velocity and quality.

Requirements

  • Strong experience building and shipping mobile applications on iOS and/or Android.
  • Proficiency in Swift and/or Kotlin, with experience in both strongly preferred.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling authentication flows such as OAuth and JWT.
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM and clean architecture.
  • Experience with push notifications, background processing, and mobile-specific constraints.
  • Comfort working across the full development lifecycle from design through release.
  • Ability to debug issues across mobile, network, and backend interactions.
  • Strong product instincts and attention to user experience details.
  • Experience building messaging or real-time communication features is a nice to have.
  • Familiarity with mobile authentication frameworks and SDKs is a nice to have.
  • Experience with TestFlight, Play Store deployment, and CI/CD for mobile apps is a nice to have.
  • Exposure to cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter is a nice to have.
  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments is a nice to have.
